Technical Assistance for Building Media Capacity in Kenya

Introduction

One of the identified priorities of the RITC-supported team that is implementing the Kenya ATSA project is to strengthen tobacco control in that country by identifying ways to enhance media engagement on the issue. The Kenyan team has requested assistance from HealthBridge to enable it to fully realize its media objectives as set out in the above workplan.

Objectives

The overall objective is to enable HealthBridge to provide technical assistance to the ATSA-Kenya team in its efforts to strengthen national tobacco control by enhancing media engagement. Specifically, the provision of technical assistance by HealthBridge includes the following areas:
