Mosquito Nets

We sell Insecticide Treated Nets (ITNs) to travel health clinics and retailers to protect Canadian travelers from malaria and to raise awareness of the global burden of the disease.

Extra protection

All bednets sold by HealthBridge have been pre-treated with pyrethroid insecticide, as per World Health Organization guidelines, to provide extra protection against mosquitoes.

As long as the net is in the unopened original bag, loss of insecticide is minimal (~5% over 6 months).

Once opened, the net must be treated with pyrethroid every 6 months to retain effectiveness.

The mesh size provides protection against mosquitoes while allowing for maximum ventilation in hot and humid climates.

The net is only effective if used and treated properly.
