Malaria Matters
Featuring Netting News
Malaria Matters, featuringNetting News! was a newsletter designed for health care workers and others involved with, or interested in, malaria control. In particular, it was aimed at those who use insecticide treated nets (ITNs) as part of a broader malaria control strategy.
The newsletter was a result of a recommendation made by the Net Gain for Africa Task Force, which envisioned a way to collect and distribute information concerning malaria and ITNs. Although there has been over twenty years of rigorous research into their efficacy, there has been comparatively little about the operational aspects of promoting ITNs. One of our goals was to fill this void by providing ongoing access to operational research, technical advances, and lessons learned.
