Internships
HealthBridge is offering a Research Officer: Gender equality and valuing women to reduce HIV vulnerability in selected Asian Countries internship in Vietnam. The internship is 5-6 months and it must be completed by March 31, 2011. To be eligible for the International Youth Internship Program, an intern must be:
- a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
- a post-secondary graduate holding a degree or diploma program from a university, college, post-secondary school of technology, post-secondary institute or a CEGEP;
- out of school;
- between the ages of 19 and 30;
- unemployed or underemployed;
- legally entitled to work in Canada.

Volunteer Opportunities
HealthBridge is looking for a Volunteer Fund Development Director to sit on its Board of Directors. The role of this position is to provide leadership to HealthBridge's Fundraising Program through: advising on fundraising strategies, serving as ambassadors for HealthBridge in the philanthropic community, identifying potential donors, participating in activities to build relationships between donors and HealthBridge, personally soliciting potential donors, and contributing financially to the Major Gifts Program.
HealthBridge is looking for somebody who is supportive of HealthBridge's mission and programs, well-connected in the philanthropic community, willing to attend 3-5 meetings and events during the year, willing to open doors, willing to "make the ask", has previous experience with fundraising is strongly desirable, and willing and able to contribute personally.

Consultants
HealthBridge maintains a roster of consultants based in Ottawa and internationally for short and medium-term assignments; we keep names on the roster for a period of one year.
Any assignments will require expertise and experience in a range of technical disciplines related to our programs. Ability to speak multiple languages, and work experience in various countries, with various members of the health sector (NGOs, Ministries of Health, UN, etc) is valued. The assignments usually require travel.
